Polished my `90 W124 yesterday with Mer and started to do the plastic cladding, however it left the plastic panel looking streaky, with a white milky residue which I could not remove, any ideas as to what is best to use ? as they are quite grubby and tar stained.

Cheers kel

Peanut butter is great for removing white wax residue from plastic mouldings/bumbers. Use the smooth variety not crunchy.:D

Seriously, no joke.;)

Thanks guys, will give the peanut butter tip a try- got some in the kitchen cupboard as it happens ! ironically it is probably an exact colour match, a light gold, just got the car so unsure of the paint`s technical name.

Cheers kel
