Hello,
My Vito w639 only has a factory immobiliser so I just got professionally fitted a oem clifford 330x1 alarm to make it a full Thatcham cat 1 alarm
upon collection I asked the actual guy who installed it what the sensitivity on the shock sensor is set to which he answered it's been disabled as you can only have one sensor active ie the cabin ultrasonic window sensors, otherwise he can't issue a insurance approved certificate and that I should of been told this when got a quote.. even though it mentions nothing of this on their website, manual or alarm box! and the sales man actually described all the features to me including the shock sensor
now I'm pretty sure he's talking crap, but just wanted to confirm this incase their is some truth to it and whether should make a formal complaint. Thanks.
