Folks My Clifford G4 alarm fob has packed up. The battery connection has disintegrated and beyond repair. I can buy new Fob's no problem. But I'm told I need the alarm " pin code". I don't have this. The car is a 1989 car. Is it possible to get around this? Or is it a bypass or buy a new alarm.

You need either Cliffnet Wizard which may not reveal the code. or send the unit to a clifford dealer for re-programming.

Cliffnet wizard runs on older laptops with a serial port.

Daz I have opted to take it out altogether. Shame as it is just a damaged fob. Sadly the fob has seen many previous repairs that have knackered the pcb.
