Clifford G5 Car Alarm

I had one of these (concept 350 ?) on gfp 1 and loved it

1 button for all windows & sunroof closing
1 button touch for all 4 windows down
chirped if peoiple got close to it
flashing blue led on dash

and the remote would work from 50 meters away

unfortunatly the company who sold me it sent a monkey who ripped out my old scorpion alarm then said the clifford would not work on my car, but failed to tell me he had ripped it all out then i rang him and asked why he ripped it all out and he called me a lying ***T and told me if i called his boss he would deny it

luckly i recorded it all on tape to cover myself so the boss said he would send his top bloke and the entire job was free (£600)

next bloke out was a genius and had the whole thing working like a dream

so to my point

can somone here recomend somone who will come to my house and fit a decent clifford and who has worked on mercs before as the 2nd bloke who came to see me said he was the only one at the company who could get the windows to work off the remote fob

im in the cambridge area and would like it doing asap

I got an Alarm specialists who can come down, he's worked on my CE put in a clifford G4 but its got everything you had on GFP 1 window ups, proxy sensors. I can bring him down to you if you like. PM me and let me know.

i used to love Clifford alarms, had 2 great chaps fit a Concept 650 with remote start to me Honda Accord, they did a great job and it works a treat... then they offered to do my Voyager cash in hand, Same as the honda but the ***ked it up and of course i had no comeback. I was considering getting a clifford on my ML320 as i like the "warn away" siren and the fact that you can make it do virtually anything you like but as the orignal poster says, im worried about any old monkey touching the car, and ive heard the MB dealers use any aftermarket alarms as a trump card if your car needs to go in for any issues that could be remotley linked to the alarm !!!!

Any suggestions??

I have fitted two Clifford G5s with remote windows, remote start etc etc, to w124/w126 cars and it's a doddle....the wiring is so basic on these cars i fail to see why anyone should struggle.

Glad to hear it, you wouldnt get me attempting it with the amount of wires, realys and fuses the G5 650's.
