Well at last I have a result.
my Climate Control fixed. Running full speed on ice cold or full hot for ages now. After buying used parts and it still not working I read a thread saying the resistance of the chip. Do bought some parts and with some careful soldering I fitted the new part and it works.

just for info with The top unit removed it also works.

Is that the overhead control? If so, what do you mean when you say it works with the top unit removed?

Well mine has not worked for 2 years. I drove to town to purchase a soldering iron with the top unit removed and it worked as it should. I assume it uses its remaining temp sensor in the lower unit.
strange thing was with that removed the auto headlamp came in so I assumes it’s wiring goes through the top unit.

Just to help others
bought a pack of temp sensors from China. The top unit is very fragile and the temp sensor falls apart. The lower unit is strong.
quiet easy to repair. New sensor fitted and job done.
with mine if you remove all wires from the top unit it works more or less as it should do must be working from the bottom unit So you have a way of testing it.
