Just got the clips for the moulding ( bottom of the door ) from mb and they gave me the female of the clip,and no male.Any ideas.They say mb that i would have to buy the full moulding if i want the male.

That is correct, I had a simliar problem, are you fitting a new trim piece? they arent that expensive, if not, slide them across

sorry for not answering sooner no i am not fitting a new trim as it is only the clip that is gone or two.
Better off getting a new one, only about £10 IIRC.
Looks nice and new, plus you can give the underneath of the door a good clean stop and rust etc etc.

tanx for the info but the same moulding in ireland is 39 euros plus vat.
