clk 2000 digital heater

could anyone help the heater on my clk 200o model works when it feels like it any advice more than welcome

Hi,
What is not working regarding the heating? the digital display? the fan? if display not working, does the fan stop when the display packs up?
The fan can pack up either through brushes or speed regulater, the control unit (display) though they can pack up it is more common to have fan problems.
Can you be more specific to what your problem is?

it all displays and lights up but blower doesnt come on blower works when it wants rear screen has stopped working today aswell

It sounds like the blower is kaput if it works on occasion

Nope. Its under the passenger footwell

I done the brushes in my heater a few years ago with a pair of these and its been fine since. Far cheaper than a new motor.

thanks for everyones help replaced the brushes with set off flea bay tested motor prior to fitting them nothing new brushes in sorted. Nice to have a warm and clear car again. cheap fix:bannana:
