My car doesn't start either and alarm keeps going off which drains ths battery. Someone told me its your wiring under the passenger side footwell which gets wet and croded.

Please let me know how you got on and some advice please.

Sounds like the drain below the windscreen might be blocked.

Not sure on your model, but on many MB's the drain blocks causing water to run through drivers side footwell and then into the rear O/S footwell which is where the PSE pump (operates alarm, electric windows etc. etc.) is located.

PSE pump

Thanks for your reply.
Is this a simple or a pain to fix?
I think a diagnostic won't bring anything up because the key doesn't turn in ignition so what do I do?

I've been dealers before I thought it was this that's causing the problem.. do you think i should try them again and point them in right direction?
they should be pointing me right direction!
