From the beginning ,
Last night driving home from work everytime i touch the accelerator and the revs hit around 2000 rpm the engine seemed to make a noise similar to taking a deep breath of air (no other way I can describe it) whilst it was building speed , It's the first ever time I noticed it so i drove all the way home listening to it , slowing down speeding up other road users must of thought i was a right **** (sorry if you were on the A2 / M25 / A12 last night) . So this morning on the A12 the car is going fine still evident is "the breath" around the 2000 rpm mark . So I stop at a set of lights as the lights change i go off but this time the car has barely any power there is power there but it is not being delivered as it should be , very slowly get up to 40mph and decide to pull over , turn off the engine , restart and give a hard revs in neutral and off i go , but still "the breath" is audible around the 2000 rpm mark , Car serviced all filters / oil replaced 3 months ago only use BP ultimate diesel .
Any ideas ?
