clk 230 kompressor transmission problems and more

Ignore me i'm daft

View attachment 63282 Does anyone know what the blue relay does, seems this relay is dead. Will order a new one and see if it clears some of the problems. Hoping it's the air bypass.
Ignore that, did not see it had a diode in it. When checking the correct flow it works, what a ding bat.

SOLVED, well nearly all.

Hi folks
Just thought i would give a quick update, it's been a while cause i've had other stuff to do [wifes orders].
I've managed to solve all the fault codes in post #4 and kicked my self many times for it. The faults were with both o2 sensors, cam shaft sensor, camshaft hall sensor, purge control and secondary air valve bypass valve for supercharger and also maf sensor later. Turned out to be a bloody fuse i missed, what a muppet. It was a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box on passenger side of car, the one next to the little blue relay i thought was duff originaly. There is two together against the side of the fuse box nearest to the inner wing if you like, it was the one nearest the wing which had blown and i had missed it:doh:
Anyway just thought i would share it with you all just in case anybody has a simular problem and can save the many hours i've wasted chasing wires etc.
Could not clear the codes because the fuse blown.
So the only fault i have now is still the p0715 fault stored in component N15/3[ETC[EGS]control unit]because i can't read the gearbox with my icarsoft i980. But after changing the electric control board and servicing gearbox the car selects the gears a lot smoother now,i wont know if it's fixed until i get it back on the road and in for an MOT.
Thankyou everbody so far for your help and advise it was greatly appriciated:thumb:

p0715 now cured

Hurray the fault codes now cleared in my tranny. After the fluid had mostly run out of box and it put car into limp mode i think it must have burned the conducter plate. This i changed along with filter and a flush and fresh fluid.
The fault code would not clear, but after curing the other problems and replacing the blown fuse i desribed. I called CAR DIAGNOSTICS UK back.
He plugged it into his snapon machine and was able to clear the codes for tranny, must of been linked too.
Did'nt even charge me to come back a second time, so even better. So if anyones in the West Yorkshire area like Leeds or Bradford etc i would highly recommend these guys. Ok they don't have STAR but that Snapon gear they have is really advanced and does the job.
I now have a fully working CLK again:bannana::bannana::bannana:
