clk 240 dash button/switch ?

could anyone please tell me the two functions of this switch, with the cars on it, thanks car came with no hand books

The top portion you use when the car is being towed...so that the alarm is not activated...the lower portion when you leave your dog in the car...it deactivates the inside alarm sensor.

And, more importantly on a W209, allows you to park up with all 4 windows down and not have the alarm go off everytime a fly/bee/butterfly flies in.

Seriously though, you wouldn't catch me leaving the car locked and unattended with the windows down.

Yes, it will flash a couple of times.

Remember to use a dog lead or somthing to keep the dog in the car
