Oct 28, 2013 #2 R renault12ts MB Club Veteran Joined Mar 5, 2009 Messages 16,674 Car 2005 W215 CL500. The top portion you use when the car is being towed...so that the alarm is not activated...the lower portion when you leave your dog in the car...it deactivates the inside alarm sensor.

Click to expand... And, more importantly on a W209, allows you to park up with all 4 windows down and not have the alarm go off everytime a fly/bee/butterfly flies in.

Yes, it will flash a couple of times. Remember to use a dog lead or somthing to keep the dog in the car
