Hi,
I have always been a 3/5 series BMW driver, however after having numerous oil & water leaks, especially on my e34/5. I decided to try a Mercedes CLK, luckily for me I have a really good mechanic, which meant I did not have to worry about repairs or servicing costs. I purchased my car about 6 months ago, with 55,000 on the clock, for £3,000 privately. The first thing I did is have my mechanic do a full service, including changing the 12 plugs. The only problem we found was a broken rear spring, so we soon had this fixed and a jammed CD loader, again an easy fix. This car has been excellent so far, with all the bells and whistles. It easily took all our luggage 2 adults & 1 child for a holiday trip to Cornwall, what a great drive easily doing 32 MPG and 25 MPG around town. I love this car and intend to keep it as long as possible
