clk 320 bad starting when warm

w208 320 starts first turn when cold,once warm,will crank then stops,crank again,and will start,have replaced cps,any ideas anyone?

Grease the starter and ring gear.

Have already cleaned flywheel should i grease the ringear face that picks up the pulse & what type grease? Thanks

If that doesn't work it could be that the new cps is faulty?

Remove the starter and grease the teeth with a aluminuim grease on the starter and the ring gear itself. Use it sparingly

Hi guys tried both your fixes,turned out to be low fuel pressure,sorted with new fuel filter.turns out a total waste of time,car was written off this morning,rattled up the back end whilst stopped to turn,thanks for all your input.

Sorry to hear that. Glad you are OK. The search is on for a new motor now. Mercedes again? Hope so.

Bought it to sell on after some repairs,probably in the summer as its a convertable,just solved the running problem & had repaired the dash with one of AKspeedos repair kits,worked a treat,waste of time now.
