Hi Gents & Ladies as well, my wife has a CLK 320 CDI on 2009 81.000 miles, when she went out last week the car took ages to start it was like it was not firing up and when it did was a bit of white smoke, I have had it to 3 garages an non of them has a real idea and nothing is showing up on their diagnostic machines, I went to a Mercedes Specialist "Apparently" who was lest say rude and stated he charges £90.00 for a check on star but stated to busy to take a look until about end of Feb. So my question is is there any checks I can do and had and new set of bosch glow plugs less that a 1000 miles ago, I have heard it could be glow plug relay or the O rings or pipes, is it worth buying a glow plug relay and fitting it myself. When the car starts it runs perfect and starts every time so I am a bit confused as nothing has shown up on 2 diagnostic machines so I would love to hear any helpful suggestions as I am sure this has happened before and you guys are the fount of all knowledge LOL.

Thanks in advance you any help given.

Sounds like air getting into the injector feed pipes.
If they are transparent you can look for bubbles.

With the V6 CDI , its more likely to be the GP module than O rings etc.

It does need to go on star, but should indicate that either the GP module is dead, or one or more GP's are dead

Yes sounds like the glow plug relay, I would buy and fit one I think they around £100 or so.

Thanks chaps I really do appreciate your help and advice.

Just a quick update, fitted new Glow Plug Relay and works a treat, Mercedes wanted £312.00 supply and fit thats without Diagnostic Check so very happy, new Beru one £95.00 very easy to fit so big thanks to the chaps that helped.
