If you look inside the service book that came with the car - the one with the stamps - if you look in there somewhere it will give you a breakdown of what's covered.
A specialist is due to open in the Rotherham area within the next month or so - a trusted member of this forum is involved in that business - and so it may be worth waiting unless you're desperate.
With regards to price - it varies wildly depending upon how much the outfit charges to begin with, how hard you haggle, which additional age/mileage related items need doing, and whether you supply your own oil.
For comparison I paid £372 for the B-service on my C-Class at my local MB dealer, which included fuel filter change (not cheap) and brake fluid change, but I supplied my own oil (which I bought from Costco for £46).
When I called for a quote the same work at another nearby dealer had breached £1,000 - the young lad on the phone was insistent that I needed spark plugs too even though I had the invoice to show they'd been replaced recently by another dealer!!
The spark plugs won't be cheap on your car - if they need doing - not a quick job, and there are 16 of them!!
The dealer I actually used quoted me £279 for the basic B-service including oil after a little negotiation, compared to £499 for the same at the second dealer (no haggling).
