They were rare cars. I saw one being made at the AMG factory and they started life as a CLK430 and then received the AMG workover, unlike the coupes which were part of the standard AMG production line.

This question has come up a few times - the concensus of opinion last time around was two but I don't know how that figure was arrived at.

There are definately two, at the very least. There was one other for sale a few years ago, which has a grey leather interior

Yep, I certainly was and this one would have fit the bill. Its been for sale for a while.

There were approximately 30 of these cars made in RHD. This is the third one I've seen. One was on ebay a while back being scrapped
