Car
CLK55 AMG - E92 M3
The car was plugged in yesterday and threw the following codes. They were then all cleared, car restarted.. The only code to come back straight away was the P0100 (MAF).

P0100 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Malfunction
P0304 Code - Cylinder #4 Misfire
P0307 Code - Cylinder #7 Misfire
P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire

Following the clearing of the codes and the restart of the car, with the one code (MAF) the car was revved and then threw up three more codes- Seen below;

P0304 Code - Cylinder #4 Misfire
P0307 Code - Cylinder #7 Misfire
P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire

So it points towards the MAF? (Its clearly faulty)
But can the MAF cause all of the other fault codes and misfires?

Thanks.

Yes, a dodgy maf can give missfire codes.

To be sure that it is faulty look at the live data with a diag tool.
