"A truly amazing specification"

I'm not even slightly amazed, I'm afraid.

" The list is endless!"

No it isn't; it's quite short, in fact, and most of it was standard on all CLKs.

The steering wheel is a bit naff for my taste. Apart from that, the car looks very good, and if it has been kept in genuinely immaculate condition by the previous owner, and there is no rust anywhere, it's as close are you're likely to find to mint condition, and if I wanted one I'd certainly be interested. I can't really comment on the price, though, because I've no idea if it's reasonable or not, but there's an '04 CLK55 convertible on 44K miles on eBay for £15k, so the price may be a bit steep.

As with any W208, check the arches, these rust more than W210 & W202s from my experience. these photos conveniently miss any close ups of them. (but show us a close up of the front plate for some reason!)

If the arches are rusty, so will underneath the sideskirts.

There are closeups of the arches on the website, and not a speck of rust to be seen.

I hadnt seen the photos on the site, granted the car does appear to be in good nick from the photos.

That said, this looks suspiciously like the tell tales of early rust along the left hand (inner) edge, there are close ups of the other arches but not this one:

Yet to see any of the 99/00 W208s which havent had major rust issues at some point :(

"BE ULTRA QUICK THIS CAR WILL NOT BE AROUND FOR VERY LONG!!"

😂 😂
