CLK Cabrio - Thoughts

My wife is nagging me for a cabrio, and we have settled on a CLK Cab Sport as there are some cracking deals to be had at the mo, because the car is about to be replaced. I got her up from a Mini!

Any owners got any thoughts?

very impressive powers of persuasion you've got there!

we've had our 280 sport cabrio since Sept 07 & are very pleased with it. i had a drive in a 200 clk the other week, not a cabrio, & was impressed with that too, although i like having the extra power in ours

power, refinement, driving enjoyment - all topless! what more could you ask for?!

what sort of deals have you found? (deals & Merc don't normally go together but timing is everything i suppose).

Fantastic car, I`ve had two, One cab and one coupe, both great vehicles, would recommend it, current deals from leasing companies on these cars are great too as mercedes are stopping the clk coupe from next month and the cab in a years time awaiting the e-class coupe.

Pretty tasty deals on the MB website. About £6k off and low rate finance (under 6% APR).

Thanks for the input guys, bought a CLK 280 Sport Cabrio yesterday with almost 20% off. They have now stopped production on these so all that is left is physical stock.

For a car that is on the way out, it still looks the part with the sports pack.

Now I have to get my wife out of it.....

Just bought a 4 year old CLK 500 cab avantgarde with AMG suspension & wheels to replace our W208 320 Cab elegance...Picked it up on Saturday..

What a car....lot of car for the money (over £55,000 new). Goes like a train but is also very refined..really looks the business...its Obsidian black with anthracite / biscuit (I think) 2-tone Designo interior.

We chose to own CLK's as we wanted a classy cab and we have a dog, so we needed a 4 seater so she would have somewhere to travel....we did consider a SL this time but, although there is space behind the seats, we thought that it would be unfair to expect our dog to squeeze into this!

Clk's are by far the classiest 4 seater cab around at the moment...far classier than the BMW, Audi etc..

Sounds a good deal. One of the best lookers of all time IMO.

how times change eh? thought we got a 'good' deal in Sept '07 getting around 8% off ours

have fun, sure you'll love it (IF you ever get to drive it that is! )
