CLK Cabriolet Roof Problem.

CLK230 Cabriolet. 2000yr. Roof Problems.
When I turn on ignition in the morning the roof light on cent console glows red and windows do not work. I then have to disconnect the battery for a few seconds and everything is back to normal. However, if I park up and leave the car for over half an hour then things stop working again. All other electrics work okay and car drives as normal. Any ideas anyone. Thanks.

I replaced the roof ECU in the boot and everything is working fine now so that’s what the problem was. Easy to replace but a pain to get at.
