w208 clk 320
Hi guys new to the forum, new to mercedes, just bought a near mint 1999 clk 320, just a couple of niggles, first is the driver seat tilt handle, which you use to tilt the seat forward, its snapped, just the plastic part not the metal stalk. It still works if you just lift the handle but if you pull it it come out in your hand, anyone know how to replace these and any cheap options for a replacement..?
thanks
paul

wehey....there has to be a prize in that...!! :) i think im member 304 on the vespa forum :o

thanks guys, im in the north east, just bought a 1999 CLK 320, in very very good condition from York Area, bought it on evil bay, but got a result i think, 85000 mile merc serviced up to 75000, always had beemers but sick to death of looking at that BM dash board, and love the shape of the CLK.
It seems a lot of car for the cheap price i paid, one small rust bubble on one back arch, and thats it, very small surface only, leather is ok, light grey so is grained and a little grubby (ideas on cleaning products..? just used Gliptone, ok and great leather smell) just needs a good clean but easier said than done..!! small tinny rattle coming from front brake as goes off when braking (squeal shim..?) apart from that it seems a belter and im well happy, so much car for the money.
Auto box, read somewhere that the oil doesnt need touched, then read somewhere else it does as it drys out....?
sorry for the off topic post, just giving you an oversight.
Thanks
paul

(oh and two small frame vintage vespas which i restored nut and bolt, we all have our cross to bear !!)
