Clk fuel filter

Hi all, just had my CLk 230 serviced but changing the fuel filter is not standard procedure on an A service. As I have just aquired the vehicle and dont know when this was last done I would like to give it a go. Where abouts is it? Engine compartment or closer to the tank? Any special procedures involved?

if its the same as w202 its n/s by thefuel tank

On the CLK assuming its a W208 it's on the offside to the rear of the rear wheel, take off the wheel and you will see it under a plastic tray that covers it, you need to remove the tray then you can get at the pump, to do the job its 15 - 20 minutes. If its not been done before have some new petrol pipe and clips handy as its likely they will want changing too.
