After hunting around various merc specialist with no luck for a glove box lid and interior bit (catch had broken ) And to be told a new one from main dealer is £ 260 phew did not like the possability of sheding that much out for a locking mech that never should have failed in the first place.
FIXED IT Bought a double ball catch from B & Q cost £ 2.68 Screwed the ball catch where the recess is for the pen on lid,Then screwed the other bit in between the pen clips of the compartment dont forget to take the pen holder things out. Works a treat no setbacks at all
When screwing the right hand side of the ball catch put a 2mm plastic packer underneath to compansate for the cuviture of the lid :bannana:
