Just wondering if anyone has fitted lowering springs to their CLK, thinking of Eibach or H&R. Are either approved by MB as i know Eibach are Ford approved.

SO has anyone any experience, good or bad..

No, not approved although you could get some AMG springs.

I'd go for H&R - Baldguy had them on his CLK - do a search for photos.

Cheers mate, Baldguy seems to have removed his older pics but found good info along the way..

Anyone know what kinda price the AMG springs are and do they lower around the same amount as H&R etc..

H&R are probably 30mm lower than AMG springs.

I think Rashman's CLK is lowered, though I don't know how.

Regardless, after seeing his photos you'll be reaching for the detailing pages, I can assure you.

You have been warned :D.

Get in touch with Olly of PCS Horndean. He stocks H&R springs... similar quality to Eibachs...

Have the Sports Springs on my 204 Saloon. Lowered 15mm more than the AMG Sport springs. Better handling and much less body roll!

Yep..... I had H&R's on my 500.. the ride was more comfortable than standard IMO... In the pics below I'm also running SL rims
