hi all just a quick question does anybody know the width of a 2000 320 clk against the width of a 51 270 ml please thanks for any help..

Parker's Guide has most car dimensions

CLK
Length 4567 mm
Width 1969 mm
Height 1371 mm

ML
Length 4587 mm
Width 2190 mm
Height n/a

Hi

If you have a narrow drive way and are wondering whether an ML will fit up, i have a narrow driveway and 210 goes up with about 4 inches to spare but an ML needs to pull in mirrors. I would imagine a clk would be narrower than a 210 so would conclude mirror to mirror there could be 6" + of difference.

Hope this helps a little

Hi thanks 230 yep i have toyota hilux on drive with clk but was thinking bout getting an ml so was just trying to work it out cheers

Clk = 4567 x 1722 ecl mirrors
Ml = 4638 x 1840 exc mirrors

Will it fit in a 2.5 metre garage....probably not..!! ;)

Dont forget mirrors are huge on the ML

Soz for only getting back to you now, only seen the brother this evening and put the tape through the windows and yes out to out on the mirrors is 2190mm as above.

Brother has only had the ML for about 3 or 4 months and he seems happy enough with it. It was a friends jeep from new and i toyed with the idea of buying it but didnt because the 124 estate is more practical for a family with 5 kids.

He only drives about 7 mile to work and back every day through the town and is getting 24 mpg or so which is reasonable enough i thought.

From new the car has had a new CAT under warranty, new valve block in gearbox, new window mechanism, new tailgate lock and new rear springs.

First set of tyres did 50,000 miles and currently it has 68000 miles.

Oh one problem he had was Comand running down the battery when nav disc was left in place.

Cant think of anything else at the min
