How bad is it to get the headlining out or partially down on a 2000 Clk? The sliding inner cover on my sun roof is out of the guides and jams a sunroof that seems otherwise ok. I'd probably be happy enough for the moment if I could just get it out altogether, the sides look chewed so I wouldn't expect it to just pop back in and work. Any ideas listened to!

There is a strip & fix guide on the E class sunroof, maybe that could be of use.

Ha found it, no wonder you were having trouble finding it as it was on another site lol.

I'm going to sort mine out as well as it tilts fine, but refuses to slide, but probably going to leave until summer now.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for finding that for me, though it'll probably be a week or two before I tackle it, I seem to have plenty of more pressing stuff suddenly! As I said, the roof seems ok, it's only the inner cover causing problems so if I can get that out altogether I'll be happy.
