CLK W208 Exhaust trim- Anyone near their car right now?

Stange question but does anyone know if a CLK430 exhaust trim/tip is the same size as all other non-amg clk cars such as a 320 or 230.

Alternatively is anyone able to get the dimensions of their exhaust trim (Chrome oval type) both the width and height?

Mine is ony a 430 and has the single oval tail pipe which looks the same as the 320 one but Im not sure if they are the same size.


You're right the AMG's have twin pipes.

Thankfully I've been outbid because I thought my 430 tip looked bigger.

I do need a new/newish chrome one because mine has lost it's chrome-ness thanks to some over zealous cleaning last year. Do you have one?

Elegance 430's had a chrome trim , Avantgardes had a black one ...

I'm in contact with Nick about a steering wheel and waiting for him to get back to me.

Oppps I miss read your post. Even though its an Avantgarde it has a chrome tip, may be it was fitted at a later date but looked smart (when new) none the less.

Which Nick were you refering to, just in case I'm talking about someone else???
