I tried to take the bumper off my 200 cabriolet and could not get the 8mm screws out of the wheel arches. I opted for this Easy Fit 2-Sensor Reversing System : In-Car Reversing Kits : Maplin and used the stick on sensors just below the rear lights,They work really well.

I fitted a single camera into the bumper, not as neat as a factory fit parktronic but still looks nice.

It looks fine because the car is dark you don't notice it.
as i say you can't notice the rear sensors.

Hi cpw1958,

did you manage this job? I am thinking about this same job, but ... is there any chance to so it without remove whole bumper? Last time I did it (it was Audi A4) I made it without bumper removing.
- I found a "hole" (ok, it was a little space between two parts) and I put wire from light through this hole.
- I am not sure about access from bottom of bumper, so I have to look to car when it will be available...

Hi, yeah did end up removing bumper.Had the rear on axle stands and both rear wheels removed for ease of access.Sprayed lots of WD40 on the bolts and they came out easy,(thankfully).:bannana:
I marked the centre of the bumper before removing it, then spaced out the sensors.I used the thread earlier in this post which was a great help. The job took me about 5 hrs with a few coffee breaks, just like being at work.
Best aftermarket item i have ever fitted. Now thinking about the front ones in the new year.
Be brave and go for it.:thumb:

I will, I will do it... I am waiting for delivery of this "box of fun", so I hope there will be everything "under roof" till weekend... Sunny weather too, of course...
