CLK W208 - wheels and triangle

Hi All,

Looking for the standard 16" wheels 9with or without tyres) or maybe 17" OEM wheels with tyres. Basically the laquer has peeled on 3 of mine and they let the rest of teh car down quite badly. I would only be interested if the alloys you have are in very good nick. I can live with the odd nick but dont want anything that is already corroding away under the laquered rim.
I wouldn't mind going with 17's off a W210 or SLK. Any offers appreciated.

Also my warning triangle is missing so if anyone has one for sale then please message me.

Hi Lordlee,

I spoke recently to a firm near me that chemically strips Alloys powder coats, paints and lacquers wheels to return them to new. The quoted me £270 plus VAT for 4 17" AMG alloy with a guarantee. Happy to pass on the firm's ID if you e-mail me. but my guess is its too far away for a trip north. My suggestion therefore is see if there is a similar refurb shop near you. By the way MB use my chap and recommend him.

CLK wheels

Hi Lordlee - I have a set of wheels from a 2001 320 clk in good condition with tyres (also in good condition).I kept them after I sold the car & they have been in my loft for a couple of years. I put a set of 17" split rims on the car when I first bought it & later sold it with those on. I tried to reply a few days ago to your request, but I've had some issues with my broadband connection. I live in Kent so thats not too far away to collect them. I'm looking for a sensible price for them (cheapish). As I'm quite new to the site, I can't pm anyone yet, but if your interested I'm sure we can get round that problem. Cheers.
