As the title says, my seat belt butler comes out as it should, however instead of it waiting until I've clipped the belt it goes straight back in.......................Help!

I wonder if this could be caused by low battery voltage. I know Mercs in general don't like low voltage and my 209 has played up a couple of times lately. I've put mine down to an ageing battery and I've just ordered a new one.

Thanks but I think we can rule that out as it was a new 750CCA battery two months ago...............the old one was 8 years old :)
