Possibly a mass air flow sensor as per the code?????
Find someone nearby with a Star computer and get a proper diagnostic test. MAF's fail but get it checked properly before throwing parts at it.
Star is the Mercedes computer based diagnostic system, it can read far more than generic OBD scanners.
