CLK270 CDI Glow Plug Light

I have an issue where I turn on the ignition, wait for the glow plug light to go out and start the engine, all perfectly normal. Then after a few seconds the glow plug light comes back on for about 30 secs to a minute then it goes out and doesn't come back on again.

You have one or more faulty glow plugs. Easy to check with a meter or a Star.

Nice one, thanks for the info. The car starts absolutely fine even on the coldest morning, but I shall see about getting them replaced. Are they expensive?
