Hi,

I've been helping my brother with his car, Clk320 CDI 2009 with 101k miles. It's currently in limp mode with the following error codes;

2552-004 check component M16/6 throttle valve actuator signal line is interrupted
2372-001 control throttle valve the throttle valve is jamming or is stiff

I completed a live actuation test on the valve no change in value and also tested the preasure sensor which is functioning. I replaced the valve with a brand new bosch and recalibrated. Unfortunately still in limp mode with the above errors. When I clear the codes, for the first 5 seconds I can hear the valve moving but then stops with the same error codes again. I assume it could be the wiring to the valve maybe then?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

I'll inspect the wiring but typically where would the fault occur, ECU side or the connector into the throttle?

Checked each pin in the connector volts are within spec, reseated and no longer a fault. Suspect the contacts were dirty.

Live reading and actuation competed successfully.

Edit
Correction, back in limp mode with same errors.
