Hi

I have just purchased a CLK320 Elegance Cabriolet with 100K miles, 1 owner from new. Drives well and in first class condition. However the Command module has a few issues in that it will not recognise the CD auto changer and there is virtually no radio reception unless you are virtually next to the local radio station(if you know what I mean).

It looks like the optical circuit may not be working or it may be a broken aerial.
If it were the PSE(optical loop) does anyone know where the fuse is or the control box. Other threads say the antenna amp may also be a problem. Everything looks like it has never been touched since new.

This is a nice car but it would be perfect with a bit of music as I drive!!!!

Appreciate any ideas or a contact for a Merc expert

Many many thanks

send me you full chassis /VIN number to [email protected] and Ill advise further.

Radio reception is most likely antenna amp or power to the antenna amps. the Cd changer issue is unrelated.
