My car has had the following M-B services

7,308 miles - A Service
16,323 miles - B Service
24,882 miles - A Service

The current mileage is 30K, the service indicator suggests the next service in 5,500 miles.

I suspect it will be a B service, however I would like to do the minimum at a dealer to keep the log book up to date and the rest (if anything) at a specialist.

Could anyone advise me of the sort of maintenance I can expect the service indicator to flash up in the next 50,000 miles?

Discs/pads will come up for sure and the A & B services will cover off the regular maintenance items - is there anything else (e.g. cat convertor) that might come up?

Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure if the entire dealer network is connected but at my last 'B' service they looked up the mechanic's notes from the previous 'A' service to see what jobs were outstanding. Maybe you could do the same assuming the car has FMBSH and that you're within reasonable distance of the relevant dealership?

*EDIT* Assuming you have all original documentation with the car, the service book (that has all the stamps) should detail what work is required on each service and what specific tasks are to be performed at certain mileages and/or periodical timescales.

Is there a famous stealer will the lowest standard prices for A & B services?

Seeing as I am enjoying driving so much, I would be happy to travel miles to not only save cost but also enjoy the drive!
