Hi All,

I'm looking to lower my ********** W208 CLK320 with new springs asap and have a couple of simple questions . . .

H&R or Eibach ?

Should I change the spring pads at the same time and other than the cost of the new spring pads, would there be additional costs fitting these ?

Thanks so much guys, really appreciate any advice,

Ben

Dont know why the 'avantgarde' from that last post was blanked out with ***'s but thought I better put that so you know the exact set up of my car at present !

Thanks

Spring pads are just inert lumps of rubber to isolate the srping from the body (in different thicknesses to account for trim/spec differences and keep the ride height the same). No need to replace unless they are damaged (unlikely). If you want maximum lowth you could replace them with #1 pads for that extra few mm.

Thanks Steve, appreciate that.

Just need peoples opinions on Eibach or H&R now . . . ?

Ordered the H&R springs today . . . delivery in 7 days or so direct from Germany, so will let you all know how the lowering goes !
