Will you need to have them coded on Star? - It sounds like the car can't tell them from normal halogen beams, but they can't replace Xenons.

Personally I don't have any need of DRLs. The bi-xenons come on automatically when I need more light, so I just let them do their thing.

I don't know if they would need coding with star. As far as I can see my headlights are bog standard halogen units. I have assumed these replacements are just projector units so would just plug and play. As for the DRLs, my auto lights do come on when dark, but I prefer to have DRLs.

I want to replace the units because I'm tired of having to sort out the lenses....it's a pain and I dislike doing it.

    Cheers,

    Chaz

They quickly become opaque. I had them restored by the garage as a condition of purchase. I have since restored them again and now they are showing signs of becoming opaque once again. It's all a bit tedious.

Did you apply a UV sealant after polishing?
