A fellow Mercedes Benz Club member and enthusiast has just put his lovely looking R230 SL500 up for sale here. I, and others, think this is a bit of a steal if you're in the market for a well looked after car like this.

It's the second car down, and neither the car or the owner are known to me personally, other than long standing forum members.

That appears a real bargain and it's only 20 mins away. I'm not a huge silver fa despite both the e and c55 being silver but even so.

It's sparked lots of interest on the official MB Club forum, where people are passing details on to non club members, as I've done here. I had a quick look at some of his posts, which show his tenacity at keeping on top of things, and I think it will be a good buy for someone in the market for one. I haven't met the seller in person, nor seen the car in the metal, and I have a newer one myself, so I'm not on the look (as I am for a CLS SB!). In fact, I've only spent about £1200 less than his asking price on having a major MD service and repairs on mine just a few months ago!
