CLK500 grille on C55 AMG

Hi, I can get my hands on a front grille with star off a CLK500 (w209), I want to replace my standard C55 AMG (w203) grille with it. Will it fit?

Yes but if you dont get the facelift W209 one it will look odd.

Got the above grill of a top bloke on the forum. Now it worried me at first, because its got 4 grills, and all the others ive seen have 3, but it fits perfectly. Obviously you have to remove the top grill, that's on the bonnet.

Am I right in thinking, I need the bonnet latch and grille support like everyone says for this grille as well as the 3 lined one?

Ive got the part numbers, I guess its a trip to MB. Ive been looking at this guide http://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...ide-installing-clk-grill-flat-hood-badge.html and as you can see the grill isn't the same.

Thats the pre-facelift grill, the facelift grill has only 3 slats.

Hmmm he said it was off a facelift.

It still fits, it looks fine. Do I need different grille support and bonnet latch to the facelift grill then?
