Time has come to sell my stunning CLK55 AMG coupe. Won't be writing an essay about the car, people reading this ad know what this stunning pillars coupe is all about. Amazing power and torque from this V8 AMG.
No expense spared during mine and previous owners. Always maintained with genuine Mercedes Benz parts.
Took me few months to source a good example. Most I viewed had LPG conversions done, mileage discrepancies, damaged repaired Cat D's, and tired examples which were neglected.
I had a full maintaince check and work carried out back in September 2014 at A1 Merc with a cost of £2,500+
Full Mercedes Benz history up to 95k & Indy specialists there after. Lots of bills and all old Mots.
During my ownership I have replaced the following with genuine parts-
-replaced front wishbones and bolts
-replaced front and rear subframe
-replaced engine mount
-replaced front anti roll bar links
-replaced rear anti roll bar links
-replaced front discs and pads
-replaced rear discs and pads
-replaced front disc guards
-replaced rear disc guards
-replaced front brake lines
-replaced rear brake lines
-replaced fuel lines
-replaced handbrake cables
-replaced headlight adjusters
-facelift front 3 fin grill
-facelift rear lights
-full LED bulb upgrade inside and outside
-removed secondary cats giving the exhaust a nice rumble
-AMG bonnet badge
-proffesional 4m carbon wrapped interior including doors.
New owner needs nothing done just fuel and enjoy this iconic piece of AMG engineering.
All electrics, lumbar supports, memory seats, steering wheel adjuster, heating controls, front and rear parking sensors, side mirror tilt etc work as they should. Sat nav disc is present and cd changer all functioning having great sound coming from the Bose system.
Light blue privacy glass from factory. Original Nokia phone situated in armrest.
Currently at 123k which won't be rising as I have very little use of the car.
Replaced both front tyres with Conti sport 3 back in September 2014 with 7mm tread left. Rears are Conti sport 2 with 4mm tread left on both with even wear.
Next service is due at 3,900 miles. Replaced battery January 2015.
Great body work for its age. Has some paint bubbling on rear arches (got quoted £300 from a Mercedes Approved body shop) for both sides to be professionally done. All 4 wheels could do with a wheel refurb.
Passenger side lock recently starting bouncing, common fault of C,E,CLK. Have bought the repair kit to have it sorted.
