Clk55 amg w208

Ive been emailed photo;s of the damage, its a fair bit of work needed.

Very, very, cheap for a '51 plate CLK55 with that mileage though - even if it's not top spec (no COMAND etc).

I'd imagine that from a dealer it'd be worth a good couple of £ks extra once done?

What's up with the roof and glass - new skin and sunroof casette needed? Not a quick or cheap job I guess, but possibly worthwhile for someone with the right contacts or skills :)

Here the photos roof in case anyone is interested:

alot of paint work needed there too and that would be very costly due to the dents

I'm 90% sure that i almost bought this car about 4 years ago. It had just been retailed by MB Ayr and was very low mileage, possibly one owner too IIRC.

I had been all set to travel up to buy at the weekend but insisted on seeing pics before i travelled.

Unsurprisingly the salesman had failed to mention the wood trim.

I can't imagine there are many around with that combo so it must be the same car. Shame its been spanked

That looks like an expensive repair - can't see exactly how it was done - how much for a new sunroof???????? £1000??

Looks like something was dropped on top of it ?

Scaffold pole ? Pallet ?

Very low bridge??

Doesn't look an easy repair to me - glad I haven't got a sunroof - had one in my old Lexus and I must have opened it all of twice when I bought the car to see it worked and to show the purchaser when I sold it!

I don't have quite a few of the options in my car no Comand or folding mirrors or a sunroof - Comand you can add (better Sat Nav's available but add's "value " to the car) - folding mirrors would be nice (standard on my old Lexus) - sunroof is about as much use as the cupholder

Have parktronic which is useful however!!

Sorry slightly off topic!
