Ah, so that's where all those bits go from stolen and breakers' vehicles, but I bet someone had great fun putting that together.

At £16k a lovely bit of fun for a chap with a big spanner set who knows how to use them, but caveat caveat emptor.

Closer to £10k I’d say is about right. Rough CLK55s still come up for sub £5k. I saw one locally for £4k a couple years ago.

The owner has clearly spent a lot of money on the mods, and in my opinion the car does look good, and must go like a rocket. However, a bit like restoring classic cars, what you financially spend on restoring them is not necessarily what you will get back in return upon sale.
