Hello, team members

I request some advise, how can I test the alarm in my car and is it really that good or should I get a good after market alarm installed?

Also, the stereo, can you suggest some repalcements for my Mercedes COMAND 2.0 and 2.5??

If you lock the car using the fob, the alarm is armed.
Unlock it using the metal bladed key in the end of the fob and the alarm, if its working, should sound on opening the door.
Switch the alarm off by pressing the unlock fob button.

If the alarm doesn't sound, suspect its internal batteries have corroded and the siren needs replacing. The part is around £110 from the main dealer.
It should be found behind the o/s/f arch liner closest to the bulkhead.
Just disconnect and undo with a T25? torx bit. Fitting the new one is a reversal of the dismantling. No coding required.
The new siren should make a slight beep on locking the car and flash the indicators 3 times to confirm locking.
