I saw this and thought it was cheap for a 63AMG, I know it has done nearly 80K but still it's a handbuilt 6.2L AMG:rock: and to be fair looks like a clean example.

    07/57 Mercedes CLK 63 AMG 6.3 500BHP...SUPERCAR POWER!! | eBay

    Why de-badge a CLK63 though?

A low miles CLK63AMG will probably be next on the list for me..

Perfect car for a debadge, it has four exhausts that say all that needs to be said.

I like it a lot, it's big bang for your buck.

I de-badge every single car that I get, I'm the same with my clothes; I wear my labels on the inside.....

As for the price, it's not 'cheap' by any means, it should be able to be bought for £20k quite easily.

To me, either out of preference of a "clean" tailgate or it's had rear end damage where the badges have been removed and not replaced, can always kinda tell when the badges are in the wrong position on some cars.

Yes he is probably after the 'clean' look, which I do not get!

I doubt it was a rear end damage as he even debaged the 6.3AMG badges on the side:confused:

I'm sure you can lower the price but 21K for that car is fair in my eyes!

Fully loaded, even has cooled seats.

The new owner could always buy new badges for the rear.

No one would be able to tell if the car has the badges in the correct positions, assuming the paint match was excellent and assuming there was no paint depth gauge to hand.

Could the badge have been deleted from factory by the original owner?

No, normally RHD for the UK, this one is not a UK model and has leather seats too which isnt the case with the CLK63 blacks.

Plus your friend is mistaken about it being hand built by F1:confused:

We seem to get too exited by mentioning such things as "hand built engine".

It's a car made on a production line, just because someone sticks a badge on the engine cover doesn't make it anything other.

It's the pinnacle of a powerful brand - I'd be very proud of mine if I had one, and I'm a bloke who thinks that most branding is complete pish.

But would you spam this forum at every opportunity?

imho, this place was a lot more lively and fun before Mercedes made a C63...
