Marshals do a great and at times very dangerous job. I was at Mallory Park over the w/e and with each accident they rush out to offer assistance, yet the racing carries on around them with little let up of speed.

Just imagine if one of them had lost their footing in the scramble to get away.

Doesn't it just show how sometimes instincts don't help. Those guys are running away at say 10 mph from a car approaching them at 100mph or more.
In the cold light of day, the safe thing would be to stand still or run in the direction of the car to manage to get under it.

In any event i'm just glad i'm looking at it on here and wasn't actually there avoiding raining seats.
