Had cloudy/misty headlights and didn't fancy going down the repair kit road using a drill etc. one was that bad I thought it might fail the mot next time round! And by pure chance I tried
Farecla G3 Body Prep Clay Mitt and the lubricant it recommends to use
and the results were close to near perfect for me hope this helps if anyone has the same issue

Meguiars Headlight Restoration kit works well too. Had a fair bit of oxidation on my headlamps, a few minutes with this kit and they were crystal clear again.

I used Meguiars Headlight Restoration kit on W203 lights, had to use the wet sanding pads then poilsh out using the polish x solution and drill attachment in the kt. Mines were quite bad and the polish alone was not enough, but wet sanding was easy if a little consuming. Overall results pretty good. Not perfect as head lights were in a bad state.

If they are particularly bad a wet and dry sand with 1500 and 3000 followed by g3 and a buffer will see you right. Get a nice sealant applied afterwards for protection
