Does the 350d in a 2015 to 2017 350d CLS use ad blue to achieve Euro 6?

I say yes, but does it

My 2015 did have AdBlu, the tank was in the spare wheel recess

Indeed they do. The pre-facelift ones did not have Adblue and have a bit more bhp.

It’s a pain as the tank means no space saver wheel.

Thats the last of your worries if you have an Adblue system!

I was amazed when Mercland advised me that EU6 B class's they were selling did NOT have adblue!! Thinking about a replacement for our EU4 S204 C220, do not want to go anywhere near Adblue so thought I would have to desert Mb, but maybe not!!

Also read that some EU6 Mondeos don't have Adblue either, so there are other options.

My 19 plate euro 6 Mondeo doesn't have adblu!

Wonder what management would say about switching from MB to Ford - I'm saying nothing, as management and logic are not necessarily in the same sentence unless uncomplimentary! I have happy memories of a Mk 1 Cortina GT from decades ago, but have not had/driven a Ford since!

I had a run out Mondeo as a hire car last year.
Didn't have to drive it far, but it was a very nice car to be in and even look at.

The badge killed it off

Why change the 204? Probably more reliable than the newer ones.

Whatever you decide fabes, you are doing the right thing staying away from adblue.
