p.s. Sorry for my english :)

Hiya,

CLS (and E, SLK, SL, W220-S, W215-CL) all are NTG1 (which means there is a seperate navigation drive in the boot) (until MY2009 where appropriate when they get NTG2.5 with built in hard disk)

Yes, I suspect you have the layout of the MP-3 disk wrong, Somewhere (I think on this forum) is a document describing the format needed.

However, xsrx is non in UK, and I just wonder if some other countries may not have MP3 enabled by default (it's configurable in Star Diagnosis)

It is UK version :) I live in North West :)

So do I need to change my mp3 to a bit different bit rate or something ?

I would not have thought so but comand can sometimes be a bit choosy about what sort of discs it will play. Mine for instance, will play Sony DVD+R when used for video use/mode but refuses to properly play the same discs when used for mp3. I finally settled on TDK for both mp3 audio and DVD video.

Also, I'm pretty much certain that comand will only play either pure mp3 or WMA, ie it wont entertain other fomats such as ARTRAC (Sony) and the like but I could be wrong.

Portzy.

I made a DVD for my car, and used the suggestions found in another topic.
You must have one folder per album in a FLAT structure. NO subfolders. So Your songs can be in one folder, or you can do as I did. One folder per album, but they must all be in the DVD's root.......
