When I bought the car I was told that it had an upgraded COMMAND system fitted and thought no more about it - that was 6 years ago! I recently thought about loading up the CD player for a trip and pressed the silver strip button below the hazard triangle, but the door did not open! First thing I did was look up the appropriate fuse (No 26 located in the drivers side internal fuse box) and it was not there! I did not have a spare, but upon reading some threads here, I noticed some say that the upgraded COMMAND system negates the door's operation. Can somebody please explain this to me - with a fix if possible? Many thanks in anticipation.

In what way was the COMAND upgraded?
The salesman said just that! I assume he meant that another unit was installed?! No fuse looks strange!!

Thankyou, I bought mine 6 days ago and had no idea that moves or a CD changer was in there lol. I thought it was a single disk and I found out then it's also a dvd player although I have not had one in yet.
Someone was kind enough to tell me that because I have the upgraded COMAND system I have an SD port that overrides the CD changer! Only took me 6 years to find out!
