CLS experience

The solution!! Only need one car now! :D

looks like a hearse

That car is  !!! :D

The CLS seems to be quite common round these parts, don't know about everywhere else. I did really like it to start with, but the more I see, the more I can take or leave it.

I'm one of those odd folk who can't really give monkeys what the car looks like, but I was sold on the CLS as it just works so well. The fact that it is based on E class underpinnings sells the car short. The shell is much stiffer and the centre of gravity lower so feels completly different to drive. Sporting, but comfortable. Buy the car right and it is not a finacial disaster either and is just so much better than the some of it's parts.
Can't help with the third vehicle senario, I gave my wife the choice of the CLS or ML when the S went, and she really likes the ML so we use that when the dogs are with us. I just picked up my new 'third' vehicle on Saturday and my wife won't get on it! What's wrong with 0-60 in 2.7 secs?:dk:

Nothing at all...so long as you remember to hold on.:thumb:

My thoughts are to get rid of the Saab convertible. Get a 129 in its place. No offence but there are far superior cars to a Saab 93. Selling the 93 will probably finance the 129 itself.

Keep the 211, it owes you nowt and does the estate car roll perfectly.

Get a CLS AMG 55 or 500. This is a "feel good car": why not have the "feel good" varient. If you need additional funds for this why not sell the 211 and get a 124 or 210 wagon or a cheaper Volvo V70.

I would not get rid of a 211 for a Saab 93 either. Thats a daft idea.
